“ Two things, in particular, come to mind when I think of what it’s like to attend Neva and Darab’s group gathering.

The first is a saying by a Persian poet Rumi, ‘Your task is not to seek for love but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.’ The setting which they have created and invited us into makes it so easy to drop whatever barriers each of us may have constructed. Everyone leaves this group feeling more empowered, wiser and loving

The second thing probably explains how this happens. Darab and Neva both exude and model what psychologist Richard Scwartz has identified as qualities of the soul; compassion, curiosity, clarity, courage, confidence, calm, creativity and connectedness. (I would also add generosity, humility and humor). The sessions are structured in such a way which makes it easy for all of us to bring forth these aspects of ourselves as well. I have so, so much gratitude for their grace and for their mission of creating a physical, emotional and spiritual space where we call all become better for ourselves and therefore for one another.”
